Dennis and Hernandez and Associates, P.A. will be participating in the 2018 De Soto Grand Parade this weekend on Saturday, April 28, 2018. The De Soto Grande parade is one of the largest parades in Southwest Florida with over 200,000 people in attendance lining the streets of Manatee. This event was founded and is put on by the Hernando De Soto Historical Society, Inc., a non-for-profit community organization who celebrate and educate others about the historical significance of Spanish explorer Hernando de Soto’s landing near the mouth of the Manatee River in May 1539.
Through the Conquistador Historical Foundation, the Hernando de Soto Historical Society support local charities, offer college scholarships, fund a cultural museum in downtown Bradenton, and maintain a Sister City relationship with Barcarrota, Spain. Those in attendance of this spectacular parade get to view all of the parade entries, see the newly crowned De Soto Queen and Princess and receive fun souvenirs such as beads and coins that are tossed to the crowd.
