Tampa Police are asking for your help.
Authorities are looking for the person responsible for the hit and run death of a 17-year old Hillsborough High School student.
The student, 17 year old Ashley Perdomo, was reportedly walking home from work just after 8 p.m. Wednesday night when she was hit by a car while trying to cross the street.
The driver in question fled the scene traveling East bound on Hillsborough Avenue, at Blue Springs Dr.
Perdomo was in critical condition when paramedics arrived, and died shortly after at St. Joseph’s Hospital
Students that knew her said that she was a fun loving student. Hillsborough High administrators will have grief counselors on campus to help others deal with the loss.
