On March 29, 2014 Dennis Hernandez hosted a Charity Art Auction at his Tampa office to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. This foundation has been funding research focused on fighting blood cancers for more than 60 years. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is also the leading health agency contributor to blood cancer research in the U.S. and Canada. The art of the event was donated by local artists and there was also featured works by young artists from the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. All proceeds from the silent auction were donated to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Channel 10 newscaster Charles Billi acted as a host and emcee of the event. Besides the array of art guests also enjoyed live music by Stacey Knights and complimentary wine and appetizers.
“I would like to support the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s continuous effort and contribution to medical research focused on blood cancers because their cause has and should continue to positively change the lives of people living with this disease.”

Below is some of the art that was featured at the Dennis Hernandez Charity Art Auction. The art was created by LLS’s Honored Heroes who are children ranging in ages 4 to 17. The children gathered to create uplifting art pieces that will be auctioned along with prominent local artists’ work to help support the LLS.
