Attorney Awad M. Zitawi-Vázquez has a strong educational background and successful experience in multiple practice areas. In his more than ten years as an attorney, he has managed numerous pre-suit personal injury cases from start to finish, including evaluating new cases, meeting personally with clients, providing legal advice, handling negotiations and mediation, and drafting legal documents. In addition, he has experience in debt defense and bankruptcy, immigration, and contract law.
Awad graduated with honors from the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico Law School in 2011, where he tutored law school students on inheritance law subjects and wrote articles for the Journal of Puerto Rico Law. He then furthered his knowledge of the law by completing a Master’s Degree in Litigation and Alternative Methods from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico Law School in 2014.
Awad was admitted to the Practice of Law in Puerto Rico in 2012 and to the Federal Bar in Puerto Rico in 2014. He was admitted to the Florida Bar and Federal Bar Central Florida in 2017.
