Attorney Michael Stewart has valuable and varied legal experience as a personal injury defense trial lawyer, public defender, and civil defense attorney. In his more than ten years as a practicing attorney, he has defended numerous personal injury litigation claims through jury trial and defended felony and misdemeanor cases in circuit and county court.
After graduating Summa Cum Laude from the University of Central Florida, Michael went on to law school at the University of Florida Levin College of Law. While in law school, he received Book Awards for the Evidence & Supreme Court Workshop Seminar and served as Vice President and Competition Member of the Jessup Moot Court. He also completed a judicial externship with the Honorable Judge Jay Cohen of the Fifth District Court of Appeal in Daytona Beach.
During his three years at the University of Florida Levin College of Law, Michael consistently made the Dean’s List and graduated Cum Laude in 2010. He was admitted to the Florida Bar and U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida in 2010 and has since had years of valuable litigation experience.
